The hate the brand receives is laughable.

Every luxury watch is a grossly overpriced status symbol. Whatever reason we choose to purchase the brands we do, whether it’s aesthetic styling, horological history, brand recognition, etc. it is a personal choice. Panerai has an interesting history and unique and eye catching aesthetic.

Educate the consumer, sure, but don’t hate on people who choose to buy the watch they like.

I have a Panera Officine watch that a friend left to me 20 years ago or close to that time. It stopped working after i received it. I want to sell it so how should i proceed. I listed it for ($3000 AS IS)..Is that a decent price ?

In reply to twit_browser_69 (@69_twit). Paneri will be closing 170 shops and consolidating boutiques to improve the impression of exclusivity. The move will allow them to increase complications, quality and experiences. It will take a decade to be as acceptable as top makers.

I was tempted to buy one of these as i did like the watch in itself until I learnt the movement is from the Tudor brand and not exclusive to Panerai.
